Persepolis Wins at Cannes

This is a bit late, but Persepolis, the animated feature based on the popular graphic novel by Marjane Satrapi won the jury prize at Cannes last week. The novels tell the story of Marjane's childhood growing up in Iran and have won her critical praise worldwide. Also check out Persepolis's myspace page.

300 the movie is a big lie.
The world knows the historic facts.
To my mind this unethical Film can't change the facts of Thermopylae.
The persion culture maintained humanity.
This civilization (the persion)is great enough to prove its truth.

درود بر شما ايرانی پاک نهاد. بنده فيلم ۳۰۰ را ديدم و با توجه به تحريف و اهانت هايی که به نه تنها به ملت ايران بلکه به کل آسيا شده بود نامه های اعتراض آميزی را در سايتهای گوگول ديگ ايت و چند سايت ديگر به زبان انگليسی نوشتم. از ايرانيان می خواهم ساکت ننشينند و اين موضوع را خيلی محترمانه گوشزد کنند. من دبير زبان انگليسی و بعد از زبان به کتب تاريخی علاقه زيادی دارم به سازندگان اين فيلم توصيه می کنم حداقل کتاب رومن گيرشمن فرانسوی ( اگر چه کمی به واقعيت نزديک ) را بخوانند.
